Project Goals

The goal of this design system is to create a brand feel for the West Maple Corridor that will set a tone for signage and additional brand applications.

It will also help connect visitors and the community to a clear sense of place, empowering stakeholders and businesses to use the brand in new and varied formats.

Wayfinding and Storytelling

A connected community can improve access by orienting visitors through wayfinding signage and public art, both at the vehicular and pedestrian scales.

Storytelling signage that educates the public about the history builds interest and pride. Fun facts and educational signage build connection and identity specific to environmental interventions, destinations, or community assets.
